Welcome to my website!

Since the year 1996 I have been mountaneeringhanging around in the venezuelan Andes, doing long hikes and tough climbs. From the year 2001, I have also been cycling, first as an amateur and later as part of the regional mountainbike and road cycling team.

Thanks to the experience that I have got in these years in these two sports, today I've become a professional guide in the Mérida State of Venezuela, heart of the venezuelan Andes.

I have been working as a freelancer and also under the trusteeship of regional and national companies of adventure tours. Thus, in 2002 I was credited by the Mérida's State Corporation of Tourism as "Mountain Guide" (Nº 027 credential) after passing a series of theoretical and practical tests.

In this site I expose in a summarized way the most frequent excursions around the region. It is also possible to make any combination of them to create tours of several days in agreement with the needs of any visitor.

For those interested, I speak quite well the languages English and French and have had experiences with foreign groups and companies such as Bikehike, Lonely Planet and Lost World Adventures (through local operators)
