Work in a stunning location and make friends

Peace Villages Foundation headquarters are in Santa Elena de Uairén, the heart of the incredible Gran Sabana National Park in Venezuela. We are at the center of a spectacular region, near the border with Brazil and Guyana. Our volunteers work in one of the world's most impressive biological reserves, and enjoy a very comfortable climate.

Our History Our Future

Experience local cultures and meet the people

Our community development projects in areas such as youth at risk attention/prevention, alternative education & therapy, special need kids, environmental conservation, ecological building and community care, all contribute to the betterment of the community of Santa Elena. Volunteers enjoy participating in schools, youth and daycare centers and our Mobil School in direct contact with the lovely people of Santa Elena, as well as working in stunning locations in the national park, on the Foundation Grounds, forest reserves and small Pemón indigenous villages.
